Precision Air Bearing Plate Inspection
To enhance precision and operational stability during glass substrate handling, Chengdu Yanmai has independently developed a porous-media air bearing transport and inspection platform based on the principle of air cushion lifting. This product enables contactless workpiece transfer, offering superior safety and cleanliness. Its core utilizes advanced porous carbon media, which significantly reduces gas consumption while suppressing static electricity generation and particle emission—ensuring high-quality production line performance and long-term equipment reliability.
Advantages and Features of Porous Media Air Floatation Plate: Utilizes carbon-based porous media to form an air film between the plate and glass substrate via micro-pores, suspending the glass for transport, processing, and inspection.
✅ Contactless operation with high stability
✅ Floating gap: 0–500 μm (pressure adjustable)
✅ Max speed 2 m/s, jitter ±1.5μm—ideal for both high-speed and precision transport inspection.
Dynamic Pressure Regulation: Configures an intelligent air pressure feedback module to monitor suspension height in real time and dynamically adjust positive pressure from 0.1 to 0.4MPa kPa and negative pressure from 0 to 8 kPa, accommodating various glass thicknesses for stable levitation. Zero-Friction Motion Control: Isolates mechanical contact with an air film, achieving a friction coefficient as low as 10^{−10}; combined with high-speed, high-precision cameras, it enables precise inspection for applications such as glass conveyance systems.
