Linear Air Bearing Guide
Linear air bearings use compressed air as a lubricant. The pressurized air forms a uniform air film that, through its inherent error-averaging effect, enables near-zero friction and vibration-free smooth motion. Key advantages include high positioning accuracy, smooth operation, superior performance, and long service life. Custom solutions are available to support diverse precision equipment applications. To achieve the ideal flatness of the air bearing, the mounting surface flatness must not exceed 2μm/300mm. The final flatness of the rail is closely dependent on the precision of the mounting reference surface.
Frictionless, lag-freeThe air cushion membrane provides non-contact suspension, eliminating friction resistance and backlash. This ensures smooth motion without crawling or sticking, delivering extremely fast response.
Ultra-high linear motion accuracy: High straightness, excellent displacement repeatability; meets micro/nano-level precision linear feed and positioning requirements.
Long-term accuracy stabilityZero mechanical wear, no deformation during operation, no loss of precision, and high long-term stability—significantly reducing equipment maintenance costs.
Smooth and stable motion with low jitterUniform gas release across the entire domain and sufficient air-film stiffness ensure smooth, stable operation at both low and high speeds, effectively suppressing motion jitter and drift.
Clean and quiet, fits widelyDust-free and silent operation; ideal for cleanrooms, precision laboratories, and other high-purity environments.
